Jupiter European Opportunities Trust PLC ('the Company') announces that today it
purchased 100,000 of the Company's Ordinary shares at 58.5p each for
cancellation in accordance with the authority contained in the Special
Resolution passed by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting held on 4th
September 2002.
