Jupiter European Opportunities Trust PLC (`the Company') has received
notification under the Transparency Directive from Rensburg Sheppards Investment
Management Limited (`Rensburg') that it has an interest in 3,856,900 Ordinary
shares representing 4.78% of the total issued share capital of the Company.
