Jupiter European Opportunities Trust PLC (`the Company') received notification
today from Mr H M Priestley, a director of the Company, that he recently
purchased 15,000 Ordinary shares in the Company at 142.5p per share.
Following this purchase he is now interested in a total of 26,154 Ordinary
shares representing 0.03% of the total voting rights in the Company.
