Director/PDMR Shareholding

Jupiter European Opportunities Trust PLC (`the Company') received notification
today from Mr A F C Darwall, a director of the Company, that he purchased
100,000 Ordinary shares at 160p per share and 50,000 Ordinary shares at 157.5p
on 29th June 2006.

Following the above purchases he now has an interest in a total of 2,977,013
Ordinary shares representing 3.69% of the total voting rights in the Company of
which 781,320 shares are held on behalf of or in the name of his wife and
children.
