Jupiter European Opportunities Trust PLC (`the Company') received notification
today from Mr A F C Darwall, a director of the Company, that he purchased
150,000 Ordinary shares in the Company today at 162p per share.
Following the above purchases he is now interested in a total of 2,694,013
Ordinary shares representing 3.34% of the total voting rights in the Company of
which 777,320 shares are held on behalf of or in the name of his wife and
children.
