Director/PDMR Shareholding

Jupiter European Opportunities Trust PLC (`the Company') received notification
today from Mr A F C Darwall, a director of the Company, that 13,218 Ordinary
shares at 216p per share were purchased on 28th June 2007 and 9,782 Ordinary
shares at 218p per share were purchased today on behalf of Mr Darwall's wife and
children.

Following the above purchase he now has an interest in a total of 3,590,013
Ordinary shares representing 4.42% of the total voting rights in the Company of
which 804,320 shares are held on behalf of or in the name of his wife and
children.
