EUROPEAN MOTOR HOLDINGS plc ("EMH")

PRE-CLOSE TRADING UPDATE

EMH is pleased to confirm that its trading performance has remained at a
satisfactory level during the second half of  its financial year and the Board
expects that the group's results will exceed market expectations for the year
ending 28 February 2006.


The preliminary results for the year ending 28 February 2006 are expected to be
released on 26 April 2006.
