Holding in Company

The Company received notification today that UBS Global Asset Management Life
Ltd currently has an interest in 3,464,172 ordinary shares of 40p each in the
Company representing 6.47 per cent of the issued share capital of that class.
UBS Global Asset Management Life Ltd is a subsidiary of UBS Global Asset
Management Holding (No.2) Ltd which is also treated as having an interest in the
above mentioned shares. Of these shares 3,315,414 ordinary shares representing
6.19 per cent are registered in the name of Phildrew Nominees Limited A/C LF20.
