                   NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR INTERESTS IN SHARES

European Motor Holdings plc has today received notification that Fidelity
International Limited (FIL) and its direct and indirect subsidiaries, being
non-beneficial holders, currently have an interest in 1,590,900 ordinary shares
in the Company representing 3.01 per cent of the issued share capital of that
class.
