NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR INTERESTS IN SHARES


European Motor Holdings plc ("the Company") has been advised today of the
following holdings in its ordinary shares:

•    Acorn Income Fund Limited holds 2,634,030 shares, representing 5.04% of
     the total issued share capital

•    Eaglet Investment Trust plc now holds 2,400,000 shares, representing
     4.59% of the total issued share capital

•    Unicorn Asset Management Limited, as investment manager to the above
     companies and to Unicorn AIM VCT plc, is interested in 5,515,830 shares,
     representing 10.54% of the total issued share capital.  Unicorn Asset 
     Management Limited is not the beneficial owner of the shares.
