NOTIFICATION OF DIRECTORS' SHARE OPTIONS



On 31 May 2002, options over 150,000 ordinary shares of 40p in European Motor
Holdings plc were granted to each of Richard Palmer and Ann Wilson, executive
directors of the company, in accordance with the Rules of the European Motor
Holdings plc 2001 Non-Approved Share Option Scheme.  The options are exercisable
in the period 31 May 2005 to 30 May 2012 at a price of 138p per share, assuming
achievement of the performance criteria.

Following these grants of options to Mr Palmer and Miss Wilson, they each now
hold options over a total of 1,115,000 ordinary shares in the company.
