July Quarterly Dividend

 

European Assets Trust PLC ("the Company") announces that a dividend of 1.45 pence per share will be paid on 31 July 2023 to shareholders on the register on 7 July 2023, having an ex-dividend date of 6 July 2023. 

 

In addition, the Company has paid dividends of 1.45 pence per share in January and April 2023.  It will also pay a further dividend of 1.45 pence per share in October 2023.  These four interim dividends, with a cumulative total of 5.80 pence per share, provide an annual payment to shareholders representing six per cent of the closing net asset value per share of the Company as at 31 December 2022.

 

As at 28 June 2023, the latest practicable date prior to publication of this announcement, an annual dividend of 5.80 pence per share represents a yield of 6.5 per cent calculated with reference to the Company's closing share price of 88.9 pence that day.
