European Assets Trust announces that the dividend of Euro 0.02 per share for
December 2003 will be paid on 24 December 2003 to shareholders on the register
on 12 December 2003, having an ex-dividend date of 10 December 2003.


Dutch withholding tax does not apply to this December dividend payment.
