The Boards of European Assets Trust NV ('the Company') announce the resignation of Mr Duco Sickinghe.  Mr Sickinghe's resignation from the Supervisory Board will be effective from 1 January 2015.

Mr Sickinghe informed the Board that the growth of Fortino CVA and the resulting workload motivated his decision. In addition, on April 9, 2014 Mr Sickinghe was appointed to the Supervisory Board of Royal KPN N.V. ("KPN") the Dutch landline and mobile telecommunications company.

The Boards thank Mr Sickinghe for his valuable contribution as a Supervisory Director of the Company since his appointment in 2011 and congratulate him on his progress in building new businesses.

Mr Sickinghe thanks the Boards and wishes the Company continued success.
