Palladium-Gold Potential at Baronskoye

Eurasia Mining PLC 3 March 2000 Expanded Near Surface Palladium-Gold Potential at Baronskoye Eurasia Mining PLC announces that all results of the Geochemical Survey at the Baronskoye Open Pit PGM Project have been received. Further results obtained since the announcement of 4th February 2000, confirm continuity of the Palladium/Platinum/Gold anomalous zone over a length exceeding 1.5 km. Step out traverses show likely continuity over an additional strike of at least 800 metres, 2-3 km south of the discovery area. The location of these anomalous zones are shown on maps displayed at the company's web site - www.eurasia-mining.plc.uk. The focus of work will now be directed at planning a forthcoming drilling programme which is a preliminary to implementation of a start-up mining plan. Eurasia will also evaluate toll ore treatment options as a means of further accelerating commencement of production. Andrew Counsell, Managing Director, said, 'The level of continuity of the near surface Palladium/Platinum/Gold anomalous zones exceeds our expectations and strengthens our confidence in the project as a potential large scale PGM producer. Focus is now directed at accelerated start up of operations to maximize the advantage of strong PGM prices, in conjunction with ongoing exploration targeted at realizing the expanded potential of the project'.
