Drilling Report

Eurasia Mining PLC 15 March 2004 Start of drilling to assess platinum potential at Kliprivier Eurasia Mining plc ('the Company) is pleased to announce that it will today begin drilling on its Kliprivier permit on the Eastern Bushveld Complex in South Africa. This drilling is intended to assess the potential for eventual production of platinum group metals (PGMs) from two large structures identified by geophysical surveys and geological mapping. The two target structures are believed to include part of the UG2 reef, which is a highly productive source of PGMs elsewhere across the Bushveld. The reef reaches the surface at the eastern margin of the permit area. The first drill hole is one of two planned as phase one of the Kliprivier drilling programme. It will assess the potential of a large, 3km by 4km northern basin at its maximum depth of 800 to 1,000m, where Eurasia controls about 50% of the structure. It is scheduled for completion by the end of April. The second hole, sited towards the middle of the basin, will assess the potential of the second, southern, structure which extends over an area of 6km by 1.5km, where Eurasia controls 70%. Encouraging results from the first drill holes will allow Eurasia to follow up with a program of drilling southwards, where the reef occurs at shallow depths. The company will use the results from the first phase of drilling to plan a second, more detailed phase later this year.
