Potential New Platinum Ore Zone at Soloviev Hill

Eurasia Mining (PLC) ('Eurasia') announces that surface mapping
and sampling during the summer has identified a potential new
ore zone at Soloviev Hill.

The banded platinoid bearing chromite zone mineralisation has so
far been sampled in exposures extending over a length of
approximately 200 m.  The zone is located to the north of the
Alexandrinskoye open pit prospect.  The composite sample graded
6.13 g/t platinum  over variable widths and individual chromite
bands assaying up to 57.19 g/t platinum.  The zone has a shallow
dip, and defines excellent potential for open pit mining.

At Baronskoye, Eurasia Mining's Palladium Gold Project, which is
situated approximately 35km north of Soloviev Hill, surface
trench and pit sampling is targeting definition of extensions
and repetitions of the ore zone drilled earlier this year
returning intersections including 2.0m at 6.24 g/t Pd and 1.35
g/t Au (Hole B4), and 4.1m at 6.35 g/t Pd and 0.42 g/t Au (Hole
B5).

Follow up drilling at Soloviev Hill as well as further resource
definition drilling at Baronskoye is planned during the coming
winter.

Andrew Counsell, Managing Director, said 'We find these results
very promising and the extension of the potential at Soloviev
Hill in conjunction with the recently announced joint venture
with Anglo American Platinum Corporation highlights an exciting
phase for the Company'.

'At Baronskoye, we plan to carry out resource definition
drilling later this year with a target of a small scale mine
being in production by the year end 2000.  This mine is
anticipated to produce 20,000 oz pa palladium and would be the
lead up to a targeted 100,000 oz pa low cost long life mining
operation' he said.
