Drilling at Baronskoye Palladium Gold Project

Eurasia Mining PLC 27 June 2000 DRILLING REPORT DRILLING COMMENCES AT BARONSKOYE PALLADIUM GOLD PROJECT ACQUISITION OF FULLY PORTABLE HYDRAULIC DIAMOND DRILL RIG Eurasia Mining PLC, the AIM listed mining company which owns majority stakes in palladium, platinum and gold properties in the rich and developed Urals region of Central Russia, announces that the new drilling programme at the Baronskoye palladium gold project has commenced. The traverse diamond drilling programme will be carried out over three months with initially approximately 2000 metres to be drilled. The primary purpose is to determine palladium, platinum and gold grades and to define an initial start-up open pit mineable ore reserve. Concurrent with this work surface mapping, sampling and geochemical programmes are being carried out to define further extensions of the known mineralisation, as well as to define additional occurrences in other, unexplored, highly prospective regions within the licence area. Eurasia also announces that it has bought a fully portable hydraulic diamond drill rig. This will permit completion of the summer drilling programme at a cost well under the budget which was based on contractor options. The drill will also be available for future additional drilling at Baronskoye as well as at Eurasias other PGM projects in the Urals.
