Treasury Shares - Transfers

In accordance with Listing Rule 12.6.4 Filtrona plc announces that it has been notified that on 30 June 2011 a transfer of 35,816 shares from Treasury took place to satisfy share options under the Company's Executive performance share plan and Share Save plan.

Following the transfers Filtrona plc has a total of 11,128,210 ordinary shares held in treasury and a total of 208,198,585 ordinary shares in issue, excluding treasury shares.
