Stobart Group Limited ("Stobart" or "the Group")

Stobart enters retail bond market

·     UK industrial heartland comes to the Sterling retail bond market

·     5.50% per annum fixed rate for six years

Stobart, a member of the FTSE 250, becomes the first industrial superbrand to enter the UK retail bond market.  As a leading investor in UK industry and infrastructure, Stobart is offering a 5.50% per annum fixed rate six year Sterling bond, available from today.

Stobart Chief Financial Officer, Ben Whawell, said: "Following a successful UK road show to test market conditions for a retail bond issue, we are very pleased to announce our entry to the market today.  We enter the market on the back of significant expansion of the Group, with developments in our air, biomass and estates divisions now delivering results and bringing benefits across the business."

Stobart bonds are expected to be listed on the Order Book for Retail Bonds on the London Stock Exchange, and can be bought and sold in multiples of £100 face value (minimum investment of £2,000) and pay a fixed rate interest of 5.50% each year for the life of the bonds, paid in half-yearly instalments.

The offer is expected to remain open until 27 November 2012 but may close earlier. The issue is being managed by Canaccord Genuity, and the bonds can be bought and sold by investors through stockbrokers or wealth managers. During the life of the bonds, investors can sell them at any time (within market hours and in normal market conditions) on the open market through their stockbroker or wealth manager.
