                       Notification of Trading Statement

Stobart Group Limited, the leading provider of inter-modal logistics solutions,
will make a statement on current trading on Tuesday 22 January 2008. The Group
has changed its year end from 31 December to 28 February, in line with the
current practice of Eddie Stobart Group Ltd, the Group's wholly-owned
subsidiary.  This announcement, which updates shareholders on trading following
the first twelve months of the current fourteen month accounting period, is not
expected to be repeated in the new financial year.
