The Company was notified on 30 June 2005 by Merrill Lynch Investment Managers
Group Limited that they have an interest in 16,785,121 of the Company's ordinary
5p shares ('Ordinary Shares'), representing 13.06 per cent. of the issued
Ordinary Share capital.

In addition, the Company was notified on 30 June 2005 by Credit Agricole
Cheuvreux International Ltd that they have an interest in 5,025,000 of the
Company's Ordinary Shares, representing 3.91 per cent. of the issued Ordinary
Share capital.
