The Company was notified on 1 July 2009 by Pope Asset Management LLC that, as a result of its participation in the placing of ordinary shares of 5 pence each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares') which closed on 1 July 2009, it has an interest in 21,288,201 of the Company's Ordinary Shares representing 6.74 per cent of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
