The Company was notified on 12 January 2004 by Commerzbank AG ('Commerzbank')
that following a purchase of the Company's ordinary 5p shares ('Ordinary
Shares') on 23 December 2003 Commerzbank has an interest in 5,136,000 Ordinary
Shares, representing 5.11 per cent. of the issued Ordinary Share capital.
