                              Holdings in Company


The Company was notified on 15 December 2003 by Lansdowne Partners Limited
Partnership ('Lansdowne Partners') that following a purchase of the Company's
ordinary 60p shares ('Ordinary Shares') on 12 December 2003 Lansdowne Partners
has an interest in 2,975,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 3.02% per cent. of
the issued Ordinary Share capital.


The Company was notified on 16 December 2003 by Commerzbank AG ('Commerzbank')
that following a purchase of the Company's ordinary 60p shares ('Ordinary
Shares') on 12 December 2003 Commerzbank has an interest in 3,950,000 Ordinary
Shares, representing 4.01% per cent. of the issued Ordinary Share capital.
