Ethanol Investments PLC 10 September 2007 Ethanol Investments plc (the 'Company') Investing strategy update The Company announces that trading in its ordinary shares on AIM are expected to be suspended with effect from 7am on 25 October 2007 as a consequence of the Company having not fully implemented its investing strategy as required by the AIM Rules. The Company is, however, currently in late stage discussions concerning a significant potential corporate transaction and the Company expects to be in a position to make a further announcement in this regard prior to the date on which the shares are expected to be suspended. If the Company is supended and is unable either to complete either a reverse takeover or to implement its investing strategy within six months of the date of suspension, the Company's listing on AIM will be cancelled. However, if the Company does either complete a reverse takeover or implement its investing strategy within such period, trading in the Company's shares will be restored.
