Director/PDMR Shareholding

EnQuest PLC (the "Company")

Notification of Transactions by

Persons Discharging Management Responsibility ('PDMRs').

Pursuant to the Company's obligations under Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.4, the Company hereby notifies that the following PDMR notified to the Company on 9 April 2010 of the following purchases of Ordinary Shares of £0.05 each in the Company (the "Shares") on the London Stock Exchange:-

Paul Lindop, purchased 5,845 Shares, and Mrs S A Lindop purchased 6,540 Shares, both purchases being made on 6 April 2010 at 107 pence per share, together totalling 0.002% of the share capital of the Company.

Neither Mr nor Mrs Lindop held any Shares in the Company prior to these transactions.

The Company's issued share capital consists of 775,027,922 Shares with voting rights.  Each Share carries the right to one vote.  The Company does not hold any shares in Treasury.
