Director/PDMR Shareholding

EnQuest PLC (the "Company")

Notification of Transactions by

Persons Discharging Management Responsibility ('PDMRs').

Pursuant to the Company's obligations under Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.4, the Company hereby notifies that the following Non- Executive Director purchased Ordinary Shares of £0.05 each in the Company (the "Shares") on the London Stock Exchange:-

Alexandre Schneiter notified the Company on 22 April 2010 that he purchased 117,417 Shares on 22 April 2010 at 99 pence per share, totalling 0.015% of the share capital of the Company.

Prior to these transactions, following the admission of the Shares to listing on the NASDAQ OMX Stockholm on 9 April 2010, Mr Schneiter held 282,583 Shares, being 0.036% of the share capital of the Company. His total holding following the transaction is 400,000 shares, being 0.052% of the share capital of the Company.

The Company's issued share capital consists of 775,027,922 Shares with voting rights.  Each Share carries the right to one vote.  The Company does not hold any shares in Treasury.
