    Antitrust approvals in respect of the Acquisition of Power Well Services

24 July 2006

Expro International Group PLC ("Expro") today announces that the antitrust
conditions precedent with respect to its proposed acquisition of Power Well
Services, Inc. and Power Well Holdings, LP (the "Acquisition") have been
satisfied. For the United States, Expro received early termination of the
Hart-Scott-Rodino Act waiting period on 21 July 2006. For Norway, the Norwegian
Competition Authority allowed the initial review period to expire on 13 July
2006, thereby effectively clearing the Acquisition.

Completion of the Acquisition is expected to occur on 31 July 2006.
