Enterprise Oil PLC 22 November 2000 Enterprise Oil announces Norwegian discovery Enterprise Oil today announced a further discovery offshore Norway, making a total of five discoveries out of six wells in which they have been involved this year. The Falk exploration well lies 20 kilometres north-east of the Norne oil field and discovered oil in Jurassic sandstones. The well will not need testing as an extensive logging programme has been completed and fluid samples have been collected. This latest discovery has continued our recent record of exploration success in Norway and emphasises the potential of the Skarv-Idun-Norne trend in which Enterprise is a key stakeholder.'
