NOTIFICATION UNDER PARAGRAPH 16.13(C) OF THE LISTING RULES
The Trustee of the Enterprise Oil Employee Worldwide Benefit Trust notified us
today of a purchase on 26 April 2000 of 508,867 ordinary shares in the capital
of the company at a price of 456.17 pence each.
We have also been notified of a sale and transfer out of the trust of ordinary
shares in the capital of the company following the exercise of share options
by two employees. 20,384 ordinary shares were sold in the market on 27 April
2000 at a price of 464.00 pence per share.
The Directors, A R Armour, I G Craig, Sir Graham Hearne, P H Jungels, A B
Shilston and K P Watts have a potential interest in these transactions.
