NOTIFICATION UNDER PARAGRAPH 16.13(c) OF THE LISTING RULES
We have today been notified by the Trustee of the Enterprise Oil Employee
Worldwide Benefit Trust of a purchase on 17 April 2000 of 225,000 ordinary
shares in the capital of the company at a price of 400.0839 pence each, in
which the Directors, A R Armour, I G Craig, Sir Graham Hearne, P H Jungels, A
B Shilston and K P Watts have a potential interest.
*A Private Investor is a recipient of the information who meets all of the conditions set out below, the recipient:
Obtains access to the information in a personal capacity;
