NOTIFICATION UNDER LISTING RULES - 16.13(c)
We have today been notified by the Trustees of the Enterprise Oil Employee UK
and Worldwide Benefit Trusts, of a purchase on 3 March 2000 of 435,000
ordinary shares in the capital of the company, in which the Directors, A R
Armour, I G Craig, Sir Graham Hearne, P H Jungels, A B Shilston and K P Watts
have a potential interest. The purchases were effected at a price of 397.1057
pence per share.
