The Company was notified on 15 December 2005 by JP Morgan Securities Ltd, on
behalf of JPMorgan Fleming Mercantile Trust Plc ('JPMFMIT'), that as a result of
a purchase totalling 550,000 ordinary shares in Egdon Resources, JPMFMIT now has
a material interest in 3,320,537 ordinary shares of the Company, representing
5.81 per cent. of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
