                             Director Shareholdings

Egdon Resources plc (the 'Company') has been informed that Non-Executive
Director Walter Roberts yesterday purchased 150,000 ordinary shares in the
Company at a price of 100p each. Mr Roberts is now the beneficial owner of
926,750 ordinary shares, representing 1.8% of the current issued share capital.

The Company has also been informed that Non-Executive Director Kenneth Ratcliff
yesterday purchased 10,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 99p
each. Mr Ratcliff is now the beneficial owner of 35,000 ordinary shares,
representing 0.07% of the current issued share capital.
