The Board of Edinburgh New Income Trust plc announces, with great regret, the
sudden death of Mr Frank Malcolm. Mr Malcolm had served as a non- executive
Director since the formation of the Trust in 2005 and its predecessor, Edinburgh
Income and Value Trust plc since 1999. His experience and invaluable advice will
be greatly missed by the Board and the Managers.
