following information falls to be disclosed:

Mercator Gold plc ('the Company') was notified on 5 February 2007 that Cantor 
Fitzgerald Europe, following a disposal of ordinary shares of 10 pence each in 
the Company ('Ordinary Shares') on 29 January 2007, is now interested in 
2,675,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 4.98% of the total issued share capital 
of the Company.
