Anglo Pacific Group plc ('the Company') announces that the ordinary resolution
proposed at the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company held on Friday,
22 September 2000 was duly passed and that the Company has now completed the
disposals of Fife Silica Sands Limited and Fife Resources Limited as described
in the Circular to shareholders dated 4 September 2000.
