             Anglo Pacific Group PLC Placing 4.4M Shares at 81.75p

Anglo Pacific Group PLC, ('Anglo Pacific'), is pleased to announce that it is
raising circa £3.5 million net of expenses by way of a placing of 4.4 million
shares at 81.75p to various Institutions. Anglo Pacific has recently acquired
several stakes in coal, coal energy and uranium projects in its strategy to
increase its exposure to the energy markets. The funds raised will be used to
further enhance these projects as well as for future working capital
requirements.
