              Anglo Pacific Group PLC Placing 4.7M Shares at 126p



Anglo Pacific Group PLC, ('Anglo Pacific'), is pleased to announce that it is
raising circa £5.7 million net of expenses by way of a placing of 4.7 million
shares at 126p to various Institutions. Anglo Pacific continues to increase its
exposure to coal energy projects in North America and Australia whilst further
expanding its uranium interests. The funds raised will be used to enhance and
expedite these projects as well as for future working capital requirements.
