The Directors of Anglo Pacific Group plc ('the Company') regret to announce the
resignation for health reasons of Mr Henry Michaelis, Non-Executive Director,
effective 20th June 2005. The Board wishes to thank Mr Michaelis for his hard
work and substantial contribution to the development of the Company over a
number of years. The Board wishes him well in his retirement.
