EcoSecurities Group PLC announces that it has received the following information
from Merrill Lynch Investment Managers Limited about its interest in Ordinary
shares of EcoSecurities Group PLC:


Pursuant to Section 67-89 of the Irish Companies Act we write to inform you that
as at the close of its business on 3rd August 2006, Merrill Lynch Investment
Mangers Limted, acting through the legal entities detailed below, had an
interest in 4,905,103 shares in Ordinary Shares of EcoSecurities Group PLC,
representing a total of 5.35% per cent of the issued share capital of the
Company (92,424,332).
