                               Directorate Change


The  Board  of  Lawrence  is pleased to announce the appointment  of  Mr.  Kevin
Stockdale as Finance Director and Ms. Julia Rosu as an Executive Director of the
Company with immediate effect.

Mr.  Stockdale was Finance Director of Interpet Ltd and was responsible for  the
audited accounts of Lawrence plc while Interpet was a subsidiary company in  the
group.  The  Company  sold the business in 2004 and Kevin remained  with  it  as
Finance Director.

Ms.  Rosu  joined  the  group  in  1993  as  financial  controller  of  Petworld
Superstores  Ltd  and  became group financial controller  in  1999  and  company
secretary in 2004. She has a thorough understanding of all our businesses.

Peter  Lawrence, Executive Chairman, commented "I am delighted to welcome  Kevin
back  to our Company and Julia to our board. I am confident that their knowledge
and contributions will be very positive for the Company."

Neither Mr. Stockdale nor Ms. Rosu hold any current directorships.

There  are  no  other details required to be disclosed under  paragraph  (g)  of
