                             Retirement of Director


Michael E Brent, who is aged 62, retired from the board of Lawrence Plc on
26 April 2006. He has been a director since 1986.

Peter Lawrence, Chairman of Lawrence Plc, said:
"Mike has worked with me for almost 25 years and his contribution towards the
growth of our company has been enormous. We wish him well in his retirement"
