Director Shareholding

The  Board  has been notified today that an employee has acquired  7,000
Lawrence  ordinary shares at a price of 130 pence per share as a  result
of the exercise of options granted to her on 27 August 1997.

Accordingly, application has been made for 7,000 new ordinary shares  to
be admitted to trading on the Alternative Investment Market on Monday  5
April 2004.

Following this, the number of shares in issue will be 26,754,352.
