Lawrence plc (the "Company" or "Lawrence")

                               Additional Listing

The  Company  has  been notified today that an employee has  acquired  in  total
75,000 Lawrence ordinary shares as a result of the exercise of options over  the
following:

30,000  ordinary shares at a price of 92p per share granted on 4  October  2001,
and

45,000 ordinary shares at a price of 60p per share granted on 17 October 1995.

Accordingly,  application has been made for 75,000 new  ordinary  shares  to  be
admitted to trading on the Alternative Investment Market on 26 January 2005.

Following this, the number of shares in issue will be 30,462,407.
