Lawrence plc (the "Company" or "Lawrence")

                           Additional Listing

The  Board has been notified today that certain employees have  acquired
in  total 42,000 Lawrence ordinary shares as a result of the exercise of
options over the following:

30,000  ordinary shares at a price of 130p per share granted to them  on
27 August 1997 and
12,000  ordinary shares at a price of 125p per share granted to them  on
16 October 1998.

Accordingly, application has been made for 42,000 new ordinary shares to
be admitted to trading on the Alternative Investment Market on Friday  9
January 2004.

Following this, the number of shares in issue will be 26,579,952.
