Lawrence plc (the "Company" or "Lawrence")

                           Additional Listing

The  Board has been notified today that certain employees have  acquired
in total 167,400 Lawrence ordinary shares as a result of the exercise of
options over the following:

92,400  ordinary shares at a price of 130p per share granted to them  on
27 August 1997 and
75,000  ordinary shares at a price of 125p per share granted to them  on
16 October 1998.

Accordingly,  application has been made for 167,400 new ordinary  shares
to be admitted to trading on the Alternative Investment Market on Friday
23 January 2004.

Following this, the number of shares in issue will be 26,747,352.
