AGM Trading and Business update

 

Chris Batterham, the Chairman of Eckoh plc will provide the following trading statement at the Company's AGM later today: "I am pleased to report that the growth generated by Eckoh in recent years has continued into the first half of the 2011/12 financial year with the Company trading in line with market expectations.

 

The interim results which are due to be announced in November, are expected to indicate a further period of double digit revenue and margin growth in comparison to the equivalent period. The operational gearing in the business will see this growth contribute to a significant increase in profits. This performance has been primarily generated by the development of services for new clients won in the second half of the 2010/11 financial year such as Addison Lee, Premier Inn and Lead the Good Life, as well as additional services to existing clients.

 

We expect to see an even stronger financial performance in the second half of the year as these services will be supplemented by more recent contract gains with the likes of Orbital Marketing Services Group and the Legal Services Commission.

 

This strong performance coupled with a highly active pipeline of sales opportunities and a healthy balance sheet gives the Board every reason to be confident about the future prospects of the Company."
