Eckoh Technologies plc ("Eckoh") has today issued 16,209 ordinary shares of
0.25p pursuant to the exercise of Eckoh share options by Symphony employees.

An application for the new ordinary shares to be admitted to trading on the
Alternative Investment Market has been made and dealings in these shares are
expected to commence on Tuesday 22 August 2006.

In addition, an application for 100,000 ordinary shares to be admitted to
trading on the Alternative Investment Market has been made and dealings in these
shares are expected to commence on Monday 21 August 2006. On 27 May 2004 100,000
ordinary shares of 0.25p were issued pursuant to the exercise of Eckoh share
options, however it has recently become apparent that as a result of an
administrative error, these shares were not admitted to trading on the
Alternative Investment Market.

The Board of Eckoh announces that it now has in issue 273,759,576 ordinary
shares of 0.25p each.
